We just released wordpress tooltip glossary plugin 11.7.2, in this version, by default, we changed tooltip case sensitive status to “NO”, if you need wordpress tooltip case sensitive functionality, you can enable it in back end, In back end, in tooltips “Optional Settings” Panel, you will find “Enable Tooltips Case Sensitive” option, in which you can Enable or Disable Tooltips Case Sensitive, it looks like this:

We get a user’s ticket, in which he told us, he have write a lot of faq terms for his users, and he hope our wordpress faq plugin can support to add  faq link for each faq terms, so his site can  get a better SEO rank from these wordpress FAQ terms.

We get a user’s ticket, in which told us some strange error which should in his child theme, we did a check and we found he copied functions.php from his child theme to the root folder of his site, that caused a few conflicts with our code, we have fixed this conflict in the new wordpress tooltip plugin version 11.5.4, please remember to upgrade to lastst wordpress tooltip plugin 🙂

We have released WordPress Tooltip Glossary Plugin 11.5.0, changes in this tooltip version:

Global “Delay the Execution of Tooltip Function” in “Tooltip Style” Setting Panel

We received a user’s ticket, in which he said the “delay the execution of tooltip function” metabox in the wordpress post editor is a great help to support dynamically generated content which via AJAX, or javascript frameworks like Vue, AngualarJS… and so on. And the amazing user suggested us to add this option to “tooltip style” setting panel as a global option. 🙂

In WordPress Tooltip Glossary Plugin 11.5.0, we realized this function for users, in tooltip style setting panel, we added new option to delay the execution of tooltip function, if you enabled this option, in front end, the execution of tooltip will delay specific milliseconds to wait javascript frameworks(ajax, vue…) generate and load dynamiclly generated content, Also in wordpress standard posts / pages, you still can specific the milliseconds of “delay the execution of tooltip function” on that post too, and the priority is higher then the global settings in tooltip style setting panel 🙂

In wordpress tooltip style panel, it looks like this:

Just input millisecond in the “Delay the Execution of Tooltip Function” field, and click “save changes” button,  tooltips in all posts will be delayed the specific millisecond you entered in here 🙂

We are happy to report you, we have released wordpress tooltip glossary plugin 11.4.6 to realize this function, changes in wordpress tooltip 11.4.6:

How to Disable WordPress Tooltips from Showing on Mobile View

It is very easy to disable wordpress tooltip from showing on mobile view, please:

#1 Login wordpress admin area

#2 Click tooltips menu

#3 Click “Global Settings” sub menu, you will open  “Tooltips Global Settings” panel, in the panel, you will find new option box “Disable Tooltip on Mobile Devices”

It looks like this:

If you select disable tooltip on mobile devices, in front end, when users view your site via mobile devices, we will remove tooltips effect on user’s mobile

This option will only affect mobile users, PC users will keep the default behavior 🙂
