We are excited to release a newest version: “WordPress Tooltips Pro 7.8.0!” recently. The biggest improvement of WordPress Tooltips Pro 7.8.0 is customizing the different style for each tooltip.

We provide custom style setting for each individual tooltip. Our users can personalize their own style for each individual tooltip, all the tooltips look different on the page. The awesome feature make your tooltips more lively and flexible.

How to use?

1. Create a new tooltip

Access the WordPress Dashboard, and click Tooltips –> Add New, You can add any HTML elements to the tooltip include images, link as well as text in your WordPress post text editor.

2. Customize your favorite style for the tooltip

Congratulations! you have just created a new tooltip. If you do not set the style just for the tooltip, this tooltip will use the global Tooltips Style Settings. How to set the global Tooltips Style Settings?

If you prefer, please read the tutorial.

If you want this tooltip unique and different from other tooltips, you can set the style for this tooltip individually. Scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see the panel “Custom Unique Style for This Tooltip“.

1 ) Select the option “Yes, I will customize a unique style for this tooltip at below“.

NOTE: If you don’t select the option, individual custom style won’t work!

How to Set Up Bullet Screen in WordPress

Login to your WordPress dashboard

Click Tooltips → Bullet Screen

You’ll see the Bullet Screen settings panel, similar to this (Tooltips Pro Plus v17.2.8):

Key Settings You Can Customize:

Font Size – Make your bullets bold or subtle

Speed – Control how fast your bullets move (e.g., 2500)

Font Color – Pick any color via the WordPress color picker

Opacity – Set bullet transparency (e.g., 0.8)

Custom CSS Class – Add your own effects

Trigger Events – Show bullets on:

Mouse Over, Mouse Enter, Click, Double Click, Mouse Move, etc.

Direction – Bullets can move: up, down, left, or right

✅ Don’t forget to click “Save Changes” once you finish!

Now your Bullet Screen is ready to use across your WordPress site: posts, menus, comments, tags, titles, WooCommerce shop, product descriptions, sidebars, bbPress forums, BuddyPress activity, and more.

Adding Bullet Screen to a Tooltip

Login to WordPress dashboard

Go to Tooltips → Edit a Tooltip

In the Tooltip Editor, find the “Bullet Screen Words” metabox (right-hand side)

You can enter either text or image or video codes. For example:

This will make a cute bear GIF float upward when users hover the tooltip term.

Tip: Separate multiple items with commas:

Also some amazing users told us they want to use our tooltips in other plugins generated element too, for example in tables which generated by table plugin — tablepress. Now you can insert your tooltips to pages which is generated by plugin, for example, in tablepress plugin, when you insert element to a cell, you can add our tooltip in it and you can show tooltips in this table.

It is very easy to add the tooltips to the table cells in tablepress plugins, please just go to admin -> Tooltips -> Addons, in “Tooltips Addon Settings” panel, you will find there are a few addons, please enable tooltips for tablepress and click update now button

Then our tooltips plugin will auto scan content in table cells and add tooltips effect on tooltips terms, it looks like this:

Please note, because there are too many plugins — nearly 50,000 plugins, they realized in different methods, so we have no way to support “any” plugins or themes, but we are try to support more and more famous plugins, for example woocommerce, tablepress, MaxButtons, Easy Pricing Tables… and so on, we are still adding features to support more famous plugin.
