WordPress Tooltips 8.0.0, Improved Image Tooltips

Hi Dears,

I just released wordpress tooltips 8.0.0, to improve image tooltip functionality based on users requested.

In last versions, when users use image title attribute as image tooltip, if an image have no title, we will try to use alt attribute as image tooltip.
But an amazing user tole me “for me this was not the behaviour I expected. I I choose to display the title of an image as tooltip then do not want the “alt” content to show up”, I think what he said is right, so I re-developed image tooltip functionality based on what he suggested, now image tooltips works like this: if you use

image title attribute

at “Tooltips for Image Keyword Matching Mode ” in global settings panel, we will only use title attribute as image tooltip, if an image have no title, we will not show image tooltip. This update will not change REL attribute image tooltips, also this will not influence use image as image tooltip effect, basically, you can use image tooltips just like what you doing in the current time 🙂

I am start improve video tooltips, because I received a few suggestions about how to help users add video tooltips more easier, yes I understand most of blogger don’t know how to use HTML5 to make a video tooltips, and we need let youtube video tooltips few more pretty, that’s right, right, I am start to re-develop wordpress tooltips to help you make video tooltips easier and make it more pretty, any suggestion is welcome 🙂

WordPress Tooltips Pro 7.9.8, Support Polylang Multilingual Plugin

WordPress tooltips plugin 7.9.8 released, in this version, we fixed the problem of tooltip auto-complete conflicts with polylang, wordpress tooltips new version support Polylang Multilingual plugin, wordpress tooltips support add tooltips effects in each languages. 🙂

Image Tooltip Guide: How to Use “REL” As Image Tooltip Content via WordPress GutenBerg Editor

Image Tooltip using “Alt Attribute” as default content in image tooltip popup,  but sometimes, you may don’t want to show tooltip popup on the site logo, so is there a way to disable the popup on the site logo? Yes, Of course, our image tooltip have a few options to allow you insert image tooltip content in other html tags, for example, use HTML link tag “REL Attribute” by this way:

#1: Please logged in your WordPress admin area, click “Tooltips” menu item.
#2: Enable image tooltips in  “Enable / Disable Tooltips for Image Setting” panel.
#3: In “Tooltips for Image Keyword Matching Mode” panel, select “use rel attribute in image tags as content of tooltips for image” option, and then click “Update Now” button

#4: Now you need add “REL Attribute” in your image links, it is very easy, when you edit posts in wordpress gutenberg editor, if you click your image in the editor, then you will find in the right hand of the gutenberg editor,  there are link settings metabox, you can decide link to anything, for example media file, gutenberg will change link url automatically for you. Then you will find “Link Rel” field in metabox, just enter image tooltip content in link rel, and click update button at the top right on gutenberg editor, then in front end,  you will find when you hover an image,  a tooltip for image popup box will show your rel text as image tooltips content.

#5: That’s all, easy? 🙂

Conclusion:

So, we can  keep the Image tooltip option enabled for images in the body, but disable it for the Logo in the header.

Please note: wordpress Tooltip plugin support a few kinds of image tooltips too, for example, just like this image tooltip guide mentioned, you can use “Alt” attribute or “Rel” attribute or “Title” attribute as content for your image tooltip automatically, for example, you can use an image as image tooltip for another image in your post manually, wordpress tooltip have a few video tutorial to help you use image tooltip more easier:

How to Create a WordPress Tooltip Support Ticket?

#1 Please login your wordpress tooltip account at https://tooltips.org

#2 After you logged in your tooltips.org account, then click the link “submit ticket” on the top menu bar, wordpress tooltip support ticket menu

#3 You will find ticket panel, and you can open ticket, delete ticket, manage ticket

If you forget to login tooltips.org, and just click support ticket menu item directly, you will be redirected to login panel, after logged in wordpress tooltip pro site,  please click “submit ticket” at the top menu bar.

How to customize the style for each tooltip with WordPress Tooltips Pro

We are excited to release a newest version: “WordPress Tooltips Pro 7.8.0!” recently. The biggest improvement of WordPress Tooltips Pro 7.8.0 is customizing the different style for each tooltip.

We provide custom style setting for each individual tooltip. Our users can personalize their own style for each individual tooltip, all the tooltips look different on the page. The awesome feature make your tooltips more lively and flexible.

How to use?

1. Create a new tooltip

Access the WordPress Dashboard, and click Tooltips –> Add New, You can add any HTML elements to the tooltip include images, link as well as text in your WordPress post text editor.

2. Customize your favorite style for the tooltip

Congratulations! you have just created a new tooltip. If you do not set the style just for the tooltip, this tooltip will use the global Tooltips Style Settings. How to set the global Tooltips Style Settings?

If you prefer, please read the tutorial.

If you want this tooltip unique and different from other tooltips, you can set the style for this tooltip individually. Scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see the panel “Custom Unique Style for This Tooltip“.

1 ) Select the option “Yes, I will customize a unique style for this tooltip at below“.

NOTE: If you don’t select the option, individual custom style won’t work!

2 ) Filling out all the fields in the panel “Tooltip Box Customize Setting finish settings”.

Image Tooltips, Solved Problem of Image Dislocation

Image tooltips was have a problem of image dislocation, when you have a large size image in tooltip content, sometimes, when your mouse hover the wordpress tooltip, and if your tooltip have a large size image which load slowly, then maybe there are a little image dislocation, it is hard to find the problem of image tooltip in local development platform, but some amazing users told us the problem and we tried many times to re-play the error and find the reason, now in our image tooltips demo,you can find we have no this kind of problem now, no matter how large a image in image tooltip, we will always show it smoothly and no any image dislocation. 🙂
