We are happy to inform you that we have received a fantastic suggestion from one of our amazing WordPress Tooltip users. She has built a recipe site that collects thousands of recipes from around the world, and many users now rely on her site, especially on weekends when they rent kitchens to cook and party. These users have praised her recipes for being excellent and detailed. However, they often find themselves busy when preparing a lot of food. So, they have suggested that it would be great if the recipes could be read out automatically. To address this suggestion, she has used our WordPress Tooltip plugin on her recipe website. By simply clicking on the name of a dish on her phone, a tooltip window pops up, displaying a detailed recipe. Now, she wants to make it even easier for her users by adding a voice autobroadcast button to the tooltip window. This button would allow the content of the recipe to be automatically read out.

We are happy to announce that we have developed a new version of WordPress Tooltip Pro Plus plugin 25.9.8, which supports text to speech (TTS) service for content in tooltip popup windows. How to enable Text to Speech Tooltips?

1: If you are using wordpress tooltips pro plus plugin, please click wordpress tooltip download  to download latest  version of wordpress tooltip pro + plugin , we will try to support this feature in wordpress tooltip pro version and wordpress tooltip free version later, What is the difference between the Pro version and the Free version? WordPress tooltips pro plus plugin will have more functions and options, for example, choose male voice, female voice, speaking rate….etc, more and more 🙂

2: Upload the wordpress tooltip plugin (zip file) via plugins panel in your wordpress dashboard,  if you are new user of wordpress tooltip, please check our  video of how to install wordpress tooltip at:  WordPress Tooltips Video Tutorial 3: How to upload and activate wordpress tooltips pro plugin

3: Log in your wordpress site, in wordpress dashboard, please click on Tooltips menu item, then click “Global settings” sub menu item, you will open wordpress global settings panel, it looks like this:

As you can see, at the bottom of the wordpress tooltips global settings panel, we added a new option “enable / disable text to speech tooltips(read tooltip content for your users)” , please just enable the TTS option, then in front end, users will find a “click to listen” button at the right-bottom of the wordpress tooltips pop-up window, it looks like this:

As you can see when users mouse hover the tooltips term “How to Make Strawberry Ice Cream”, the tooltip window popup with detailed Strawberry Ice Cream recipe, then at the right-bottom of the Strawberry Ice Cream recipe, you will find the green click to listen button.

If you click on the “click to listen” button, the wordpress tooltip will start reading the entire strawberry ice cream recipe out loud! And the button text will changed from “click to listen” to “click to stop” , by click “”click to stop””, you can pause the reading, and the text on the button will be changed from “click to stop” to “click to listen” again, you can click to continue with the voice tooltips 🙂

I have multiple issues with tooltips I need you help with:

Hi, Dear users of  WordPress Tooltip plugin, hope this message find you are doing well and have wonderful days with your family 🙂 We recently received feedback from an amazing WooCommerce shop owner who shared her positive experience with our WooCommerce Tooltips plugin. She mentioned that after implementing the plugin in her WooCommerce site, the WooCommerce directory became a powerful tool for her customers to quickly find their desired products, thus improving shopping efficiency. Previously, users had to navigate through multiple pages in the WooCommerce shop, which often led to frustration and impatience. However, with the WooCommerce directory, users can now easily view product titles, content, prices, and categories, and even select commonly used products through the alphabet navigation bar. Rewrote the summary function to improve page load speeds, wordpress tooltips pro plugin 18.5.6

Hey there, Dear  WordPress Tooltip plugin users, hope this message find you are doing well and that you’re enjoying happy days with your family. Just like we reported in wordpress tooltips pro plus 25.0.8. We got a message from a cool WordPress ToolTips user who around 10,000 tooltip terms on their WordPress site. They were facing slow loading times on the glossary page, so we put on our detective hats to figure it out.

Initially, we thought SQL statements were the culprit, but after some debugging magic, we found out it wasn’t SQL causing the slowdown. We dug deeper, added some debug statements, and voila! Turns out, our WP_trim_excerpt function was playing tag with the the_content WordPress API, which slowed things down because lots of other plugins were also hooked into it. After a bit of plugin partying, our function had to wait in line.

To fix this, we gave our WordPress ToolTip Pro plugin a makeover. We rewrote it, ditching the the_content WordPress API entirely. Now, with our snazzy proprietary excerpt function, the issue is history, according to our happy users.

Wanted to let you know about some ideas you might consider
In the glossary customize settings page:
(1) please let choose theme defaults wherever possible, esp. for glossary term&content font color, glossary term&content font sizes and backround colors.
(2) If that’s not possible, please
– add an option to set content font size
– look into the font color picker, it set’s some weired defaults after a reload whenever I press the clear button

Hi, Dear   WordPress Tooltip users, hope this message find you are doing well and enjoying happy days with your family.   We got a feedback from a new user of wordpress tooltips pro plus plugin, in which he said he love our default glossary style, but he want to customize glossary style settings in wordpress glossary customize settings panel, he found the default glossary color palette is gray, because he is not a designer, so he tried a few times to create a good glossary color palette for himself, he suggest us that if we can build a pre-built glossary color palette, then it would be great 🙂

We immediately checked for him and found out that the reason was that he did not set the file permissions of his LAMP server directory correctly. Although we didn’t cause this problem, our WordPress tooltip developers said we should improve the robustness of our code.
