WordPress 404s Plugin 3.2.9 Released

Hi Dear WordPress Tooltip Glossary Users,
Hope this message find you are doing well and have happy days with your family! 🙂
We have re-developed wordpress 404s plugin, based on an user’s suggestion, in the ticket, the user told us, he want so have an option to stop insert the new 404 page not found errors record in the mysql database, because he have solved the most important 404s errors in back end, sometimes, he found there are just a few hackers try to find some plugin page, in this case, he hope do not trace these 404s error any more, we have realized his request in this new verison. 🙂
The changes of wordpress 404s plugin 3.2.9:
* New option in 404 Settings Panel: “Stop Insert New 404 Log Records into Database“, if you enable this option, we will not trace / record new 404 page URLs into site database
* Improved 404 plugin menu item

WordPress 404s Plugin 3.2.5 Released

Dear Users of WordPress Tooltip Plugin,
Hope this message find you are doing well and have happy days with your family! 🙂
We have released wordpress 404s page not found error plugin 3.2.5, in this version, 404s plugin start to support create post for each 404 error urls via wordperss editor, for example, you can create a post your.com/best-apple-iphone for the 404 error url your.com/apples, and create another post your.com/buy-iphone for 404 error url your.com/buy
In backend, you will find new menu item “All 404s”, in which you can edit / delete / manage / custom 404s posts
Also you will find new menu item “Add New”, in which you can create new post manually and assign this post with a 404 url via “what is the 404 URL” metabox, it looks like this:

WordPress 404s Plugin 2.9.3 Released, You can Set Up to Redirect Each 404 Error Page to Any URL

Hope this message find you are happy and have happy weekend with your family 🙂

We get an wordpress 404 plugin user’s ticket, in the ticket he said, in the current time, he can use our wordpress 404s plugin to redirect 404 users to Homepage of wordpress site, that is really good, but he hope he can redirect 404 error page not found page to his woocommerce shop page, because in the wordpress home page, he have no valuable content, he do not want to waste traffic of 404 users, he hope redirect these 404 error users to his woocommerce shop to earn some money 🙂

That’ is great idea, our developer have re-developed our wordpress 404s plugin, to support his feature request, now in WordPress 404s Plugin 2.9.3,  You can Set Up to Redirect Each 404 Error Page to Any URL 🙂

Please just login your wordpress admin area, then in “404 Global Settings” panel, you will find you can  option to set up to redirect 404 error page to specific posts, if users enter an error page url, when they open the 404 error pages, they will go to be redirected to your specific page, it can be your landing page, shop page, login page, category…. and url, even URL of another site! 🙂

We Have Speed Up WordPress Tooltips Site

Hi Dear WordPress Tooltips User,

We get an user’s report, in which he said in recent days, he found the load speed of wordpress tooltip site is a little slow, he hope we can optimize our wordpress tooltip site, so he can check wordpress tooltip document faster 🙂

After get his ticket, we dig into our wordpress tooltip site, finally we found there are many 3rd bots grab content from our site, and there are some users use big internet tools to grab our images, we have disabled these bots, also we re-set-up our cache plugins, after a one day hard work, we are happy to report you, from our side, the site load speed is about 2s, we tested on some speed test site, it is 2s too, so we can exclude the factor of browser cache on our side, thanks for the report, if you find any error or problem, please report us asap, we will fix any problem asap for give wordpress tooltip users a excellent view experience 🙂

I am happy to report you, we have released wordpress FAQ plugin 3.5.3 🙂
We get a ticket from an WordPress FAQ plugin’s user, in which he told us, in his wordpress booking site, he have added a lot of  description as wordpress posts for each section of his booking site, also some of his reply is made by his bbpress plugins, in his bbpress forum, he replied many users question, with detailed text and images and video,   he do not want to re-write these sections again as FAQ items, he hope our wordpress FAQ plugin have ability to use existed wordpress post as wordpress FAQ items, and he hope, if it is possible, use his bbPress plugin’s topic as wordpress FAQ items!
Sure, this is really a useful idea for wordpress FAQ users, yes, we often write many wordpress posts for our products, and sometimes, we use 3rd plugins, for example, bbpress, ACF… and so on to create replies or notes for our products, in this case, we do not want to make duplicate content again, if we can just use existed content from wordpress post or wordpress custom posts, that is great, it make life more easier 🙂
Based on this amazing wordpress FAQ plugin user’s suggestion, we have developed wordpress FAQ plugin 3.5.3, now You can use any existed post or even custom post as FAQ, so you will not need re-write duplicated content in FAQ, we will reuse the post title as FAQ title, and reuse the post content as FAQ content.For example, if you have a bbpress topic, and you think that is helpful for users, you can just add post id in FAQ editor, and we will use the specified bbpress topic title as FAQ title and use bbPress topic content as FAQ content… and so on
When you edit a FAQ term, in the right hand of the FAQ editor, you will find “Use existed post as FAQ post?” metabox, just enter the existed post id in the input box, then the title and content of this FAQ will be replaced with your specific post . It looks like this:

We are happy to report you, in last 2 weeks, we have migrate our sites to another hosting, with more amazing functions, also we have re-design the whole site to make it more clean, fast, and user-friendly, our prev design of wordpress tooltip site is a little “heavy”, “official”, if you check our current version of wordpress tooltip site, you will find it is a little more light, “soft”, “geek”, faster, and user-friendly 🙂

You can see in wordpress 404s plugin global settings panel, we have added a new option “send 404 alert with page URL to email?”, you can enable or disable this option in wordpress 404s plugin back end, if you try to enable the option “send 404 alert with page URL to email?”, if you select “YES”, you will find a input box which allow you specific the admin mail which used to receive 404 page not found error alerts, if you do not enter a new mailbox in here, by default, wordpress 404s plugin will use your wordpress admin mailbox to send 404 page not found error alerts. 🙂
