We are happy to report you, the morning we received an user’s ticket, in which he hope our wordpress tooltip by id shortcode can support icon tooltip, our developer think this is an amazing feature request, he worked hard and realized it! Changes in WordPress Tooltip Glossary Plugin 11.1.8:

WordPress Tooltip Shortcode for Icon Tooltip

You can use new icon tooltip shortcode like this way:

[icon_tooltip_by_id tooltip_id='308']your icon here[/icon_tooltip_by_id]

for example, a smile icon, it looks like this:

By this way, you can add any existed tooltip content in your icons tooltips, for example, your question icon or smile emoji icon.. and so on

please note, if you want to add icon tooltip with new content, not from existed tooltip in tooltip system, you can use our [tooltips]] shortcode, you can do it like this:
[[tooltips content='we all love wordpress']your icon here[/tooltips]
