Subject:
Tooltip isn’t working in posts

Message:
Hi. I’m using free tooltip plugin and I have configured one to test but it doesn’t work. In this link you can see the test page

Thank you.

Our WordPress Tooltips plugin developer checked his site and found that his WordPress site has an advanced caching plugin. Advanced caching plugins often include features that minify or combine JavaScript files to improve loading times. If these scripts are improperly combined or minified, it can lead to errors in the execution of JavaScript functions, causing some plugins to not work as intended.

Rebuilt the WordPress Tooltip glossary page and created a few glossary terms for famous quotes

Greetings, valued users of the WordPress Tooltips plugin! I hope this message finds you well and basking in delightful times with your loved ones.   We recently received feedback from a new user who suggested that we improve our glossary demo. They mentioned that while the WordPress Tooltips plugin boasts a robust glossary feature, the demo page lacks valuable information, making it less engaging.

We checked our wordpress glossary page, yes, we just added a few glossary terms which working for our wordpress tooltips plugin, we decide to add more funny glossary content for users 🙂

Therefor, we created a few life quote tooltip terms from our life quote plugin:
Albert Schweitzer

Do something wonderful, people may imitate it.
To follow, without halt, one aim: There is the secret of success.

Daisaku Ikeda

True happiness means forging a strong spirit that is undefeated, no matter how trying our circumstances.

John Lennon

Love is the flower you’ve got to let grow.

Mother Teresa

We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do.

Richard Bach

The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it.

Robert Louis Stevenson

There is no duty we so underrate as the duty of being happy. By being happy we sow anonymous benefits upon the world.

Thomas Edison

The three great essentials to achieve anything worthwhile are: Hard work, Stick-to-itiveness, and Common sense.

These are brilliant ideas, worthy of our contemplation and action. 🙂

Understanding the WordPress Glossary Plugin

A glossary serves as a curated compilation of terms and their explanations, designed to clarify concepts across diverse disciplines. Dating back to the earliest dictionaries, glossaries have evolved into vital educational resources. In the realm of WordPress, a glossary significantly enriches the user experience by offering straightforward access to intricate terminology.

By leveraging a wordpress tooltip plugin, this process becomes even more efficient—equipped with features such as interactive tooltips and an intuitive search capability. Integrating a tooltip plugin not only elevates user engagement but also reinforces credibility and enhances SEO performance, ultimately empowering users to navigate specialized content with greater ease.

Transform Your WordPress Site with the Life Quotes Plugin

Introducing the WordPress Life Quotes Plugin, a delightful addition that showcases random life quotes at the bottom of your posts. These quotes can ignite inspiration and motivation in your readers, offering a refreshing break from the text while enriching the visual appeal of your content, fostering a deeper connection with your audience. Once you activate the WordPress Life Quotes Plugin, each time readers explore your posts, they’ll encounter a charming new life quote at the end. This means that every visit brings a different dose of inspiration!

Incorporating life quotes into your WordPress site comes with a multitude of advantages:

– Inspiration and Positivity: Life quotes have the power to uplift and motivate, encouraging readers to maintain a positive outlook in their own lives.

– Visual Appeal: Adding quotes breaks up lengthy passages, making your content more dynamic and visually engaging for your audience.

– Shareability: A thoughtfully selected life quote is perfect for sharing on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. When readers resonate with the quote, they may spread the word, increasing the visibility of your site and attracting new visitors.

– Personal Connection: Including life quotes adds a unique touch to your blog, reflecting your personal interests and values while fostering a bond with your readers. In summary, incorporating life quotes on your WordPress site is a simple yet impactful strategy to enhance user experience and boost engagement. Try it out and see the difference it makes!

WordPress Life Quotes Plugin support wordpress tooltips 🙂

As a result, we have utilized the WordPress Life Quotes Plugin to develop a variety of tooltip terms for WordPress users. Our commitment doesn’t stop here; we plan to keep crafting more entertaining glossaries to enhance the experience for those using WordPress tooltips. 🙂

As a result, the completed glossary demonstration appears as follows:

The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth. The trite subjects of human efforts, possessions, outward success, luxury have always seemed to me contemptible.
Do something wonderful, people may imitate it.
To follow, without halt, one aim: There is the secret of success.
Reflect on your present blessings, of which every man has many; not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.
True happiness means forging a strong spirit that is undefeated, no matter how trying our circumstances.
Love is the flower you've got to let grow.
We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do.
In order to succeed, we must first believe that we can.
The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it.
There is no duty we so underrate as the duty of being happy. By being happy we sow anonymous benefits upon the world.

The glossary shortcode we’re utilizing here is:

[ glossary catid=’2006′ ]
The number ‘2006’ corresponds to the category ID for the Tooltips category titled ‘Life Quote.’
Everything is looking just perfect now!

Supports the display of featured images in the content column of the WordPress Tooltips AnyThing Directory, WordPress Tooltips Pro Plus 32.2.8 Released

Hello, dear users of WordPress Tooltip! I sincerely hope this message finds you well and enjoying joyous moments with your loved ones. A few days ago, we released the WordPress Tooltips Plugin Pro Plus version 32.0.8, which allows the creation of directories using posts from various custom post types. Today, we’re excited to announce the release of version 32.2.8, which adds support for displaying featured images in the content column of the WordPress Tooltips AnyThing Directory. 🙂

What is AnyThing Directory?

The AnyThing Directory is a feature of the WordPress Tooltips Plugin Pro Plus that allows WordPress users to manage and display various types of content on their sites. This includes custom post types such as FAQs, portfolios, testimonials, events, listings, directories, and reviews. With the AnyThing Directory, users can create a centralized directory from any of these custom post types using a simple shortcode. The directory showcases all posts categorized under your specified  custom post type  in a single listing format. Each entry displays the title with a link to the post and the corresponding content. Users have the flexibility to choose between showing an excerpt or the full content, as well as the option to include images or videos for each post. These settings can be easily customized through the options available in the settings panel, enhancing the overall user experience.

Why we developed the wordpress tooltips AnyThing Directory?

A few days ago, we received a ticket from a wordpress tooltip user, he said:

HI
i will like to show a tooltip that contain a list of events configured in abc booking plugin.
In a standard page this happen with a code [ abcbooking ]. I do not find the way to do that as in the tooltip appear only the inserted code and not the list of events.

Is there any possibility to meet what in my mind?
Many thanks

In the wordpress tooltips plugin, we do support inserting shortcode in the content of wordpress tooltip terms. Therefor,  it seems a bit unusual to  heard that it cannot work. Our wordpress tooltip developer installed the amazing booking plugin and tried our best to integrate it with wordpress tooltips plugin.

But we found that the amazing booking plugin uses Javascript to load events from database, we cannot find an  API to retrieve the generated content. A few years ago, we resolved a few similar issues with other 3rd wordpress plugins that generate content using javascript. We developed an option called “Delay the execution of tooltip function” in wordpress standard editor. If the wordpress editor  enter a number of millisecond in the “Delay the execution of tooltip function” metabox, wordpress tooltip plugin will support toolip effects for dynamically generated content, for example AJAX, Vue…etc.

But, we found that this method does not work with the booking plugin again. Therefor,  our wordpress tooltip developer decided to create our own directory module within wordpress tooltip plugin. This listing module will read all kinds of post from ANY wordpress custom post type and display them in lists via a simple shortcode.

That’s why we worked tirelessly from many days to complete version 32.0.8 of the wordpress tooltips plugin pro plus to solve the problem for the user 🙂

What’s more in wordpress tooltips plugin pro plus 32.2.8?

After releasing wordpress tooltips plugin pro plus 32.0.8, we tested it in many wordpress plugins, our developer discovered that  few 3rd wordpress plugins allow wordpress admin to upload featured image in wordpress custom post type, we believe it’s essential to give WordPress admins the choice to display these featured posts in the content column. Therefor,  we re-developed wordpress tooltips plugin to added a new option “Display featured image in the content column?”

If the WordPress admin select the “yes”,  we will check each post from custom type post and display the features image of the post in the content column, else, we will ignored the featured images 🙂

What is featured image in wordpress post?

In WordPress, a featured image (also known as a post thumbnail) is a representative image associated with a specific post or page. Here are some key points about featured images:

1. Purpose:

The featured image visually represents the content of the post, providing an eye-catching visual element that can attract readers’ attention.

It’s often used in post listings, archives, and social media sharing, helping to give context to the content.

2. Usage:

Featured images are commonly displayed at the top of posts, on the homepage, in grids of recent articles, and in category or tag archives.

They can also be used in slide shows or carousels on the site.

3. Setting a Featured Image:

In the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg), you can set a featured image in the sidebar under the “Post” or “Page” settings.

For classic WordPress editors, there’s an option within the editor interface labeled “Featured Image.”

4. Image Size:

The recommended size for featured images can vary depending on the theme. It’s good practice to check your theme’s documentation to know the optimal dimensions.

Using high-quality images that are properly sized can improve the overall appearance of your site.

5. Theme Compatibility:

Not all themes use featured images in the same way. Some may display them prominently, while others may only use them in specific contexts or layouts.

Features and display styles can usually be customized through theme settings.

6. SEO Benefits:

Featured images can enhance the visual appeal of your posts and improve user engagement, which may positively impact SEO.

Properly labeled images (with alt text) can also contribute to search engine optimization.
In summary, featured images are a valuable aspect of WordPress posts, enhancing visual appeal, user engagement, and overall site aesthetics. 🙂

Support for creating and editing WordPress Tooltips in the Gutenberg editor, WordPress Tooltips free plugin version 9.9.3 has been released

Hi, dear users of  WordPress Tooltip plugin, I hope this message finds you are doing well and that you having a  happy day with your family   We just released version 9.9.3 of the wordpress tooltips free plugin. Based on feedback from wordpress tooltip users, here are changes in wordpress tooltips version 9.9.3:

1 We fixed issues with a few admin tooltips in global settings that were not working well

2 We changed a few titles in global settings to make them clearer and more attractive

3 We now support using Gutenberg to create and edit wordpress tooltips terms

We received a suggestion from a WordPress Tooltips plugin user -> ‘It would be absolutely fantastic if your Tooltip plugin could allow users to create tooltips directly within the Gutenberg interface,’ she said:

A Bright Idea for Tooltip Creation in Gutenberg!

Dear Tooltip Plugin Developers,

I hope this message finds you well and thriving! As an avid user of both WordPress and the powerful Gutenberg editor, I wanted to share a little suggestion that I believe could make a brilliant difference for many users.

Gutenberg offers such a wealth of dynamic features that the traditional WordPress editor simply can’t match, especially with its delightful drag-and-drop functionality. The ability to effortlessly rearrange blocks and customize layouts is a game changer! Not to mention, the reusable blocks allow us to keep our posts consistent and save precious time—a win-win if you ask me.

With all these fantastic capabilities, it would be absolutely fantastic if your Tooltip plugin could allow users to create tooltips directly within the Gutenberg interface. Imagine how convenient it would be for users to seamlessly incorporate tooltips into their content, all while utilizing the inherent strengths of Gutenberg.
This integration could empower the community even further, making it easier to enhance posts with helpful information at our fingertips. It would not only enrich the user experience but also elevate the content we create.

Thank you for considering this suggestion! I believe it could truly take your plugin to the next level and make the lives of many WordPress users that much brighter.

Cheers and best wishes,

Our developer of the WordPress Tooltip plugin reviewed her ticket, and we believe this is a great suggestion. As a result, we developed WordPress Tooltips Pro Plus version 31.4.8 and wordpress tooltips free 9.9.3 to implement the user’s amazing feature request

How to Create and Edit Tooltips with the WordPress Gutenberg Editor?

1: Login wordpress as admin.

2: In the WordPress dashboard, go to the “Tooltips” menu. Then, click on the “Global Settings” sub-menu item, you will open the “Global Settings” panel, it looks like this:

Tooltips Global Settings in wordpress tooltips 9.9.3

3: In ‘Global Settings,’ you will find a new option: ‘Enable Gutenberg Editor for Tooltips’ at the bottom of the panel.  If you want to use GutenBerg to edit tooltip terms, please enable this option. Then, when you create or edit a WordPress tooltip term, you will notice that you are using the WordPress Gutenberg editor, not the wordpress classic custom post type editor.

4: If you want to revert to using wordpress default custom post type editor, please simply disable it 🙂

Conclusion:

Supporting Gutenberg for creating and editing wordpress tooltips can greatly enhance user experience and functionality:

1. Improved User Experience

Intuitive Interface: Gutenberg’s block-based editor provides a more visual and user-friendly interface compared to the classic editor. Users can easily see how their content will look as they build it.

Drag-and-Drop Functionality: Users can easily rearrange blocks, which makes it simpler to customize the layout of their posts and pages without needing to know HTML or CSS.

2. Enhanced Customization

Blocks for Custom Content: With Gutenberg, developers can create custom blocks that allow users to add specific features or layout options tailored to their needs. This can significantly enhance what users can do with their wordpress tooltips.

Reusable Blocks: Users can create reusable blocks for frequently used content snippets, making it easier to maintain consistency across posts and saving time.

3. Better Content Management

Previewing Changes: Users can preview their changes in real time, which helps in ensuring that the end result meets their expectations before publishing.

Version Control: Gutenberg provides better support for revisions, allowing users to easily track changes over time and revert to previous versions if necessary.

4. Future-Proofing

Alignment with WordPress Trends: The shift towards the block editor is part of WordPress’s evolution. Supporting Gutenberg helps ensure that the plugin remains relevant and compatible with future updates to the WordPress core.

Access to New Features: As WordPress continues to develop new features for the block editor, supporting Gutenberg allows users to take advantage of these enhancements seamlessly.

5. Increased flexibility

Supports Additional Features: By adopting Gutenberg, wordpress tooltips can utilize additional capabilities within the editor, such as rich media, layout options, and dynamic content, which were more challenging to implement in the classic editor.

Easier Integration with Other Plugins: Many modern WordPress plugins are designed to work with Gutenberg. Supporting Gutenberg can ensure better compatibility and functionality with these tools.

Overall, supporting Gutenberg for wordpress tooltips not only meets user expectations for a modern editing experience but also empowers them with tools to create richer, more engaging content. This aligns with broader trends in web content management and enhances the flexibility and power of WordPress as a content management system.

Exemple :
json { “buttonText”: “Contactez-nous”, “buttonSize”: “large”, “buttonIconSize”: 24, “menuSize”: “large” }

Vielen Dank!
———————-

Hallo,
Beispiel:
json { “buttonText”: “Kontaktieren Sie uns”, “buttonSize”: “groß”, “buttonIconSize”: 24, “menuSize”: “groß” }
