Dear WordPress Tooltip users, hope this message find you are doing well and have happy weekend with your family, based on user’s feedback, we developed a new version: WordPress Tooltips Plugin 14.3.8, in the wordpress tooltip 14.3.8, WordPress Tooltip administrator can enable / disable wordpress tooltip terms shown in the WordPress search result, via one click in back end of wordpress tooltip settings panel 🙂

What’s new changes in WordPress Tooltip Glossary Plugin Version 14.3.8?

An amazing wordpress tooltip plugin user wrote to us:

Exclude the page with the tip title from searches
When I search for a word on my site, the page with the name of the tip I created in the title also appears in the search result. How can I configure the tip page so that it does not appear in the search results? Is this possible?

Actually, in wordpress glossary settings panel, we have an option to enable / disable glossary term searchable or not, but in wordpress tooltip settings panel, we have no this option yet, many users just use function of wordpress tooltips, so our developer decide to develop a new function to help users do disable or enable wordpress tooltip terms and content display in wordpress standard search result list or not. Now it is very easy to do via one click:

1: Please login wordpress site admin area

2: Please click tooltips menu item

3: Please click “Optional Settings” sub menu item

4: You will find new option: “Enable Tooltip and Glossary Searchable option” in Tooltips Optional Settings, it looks like this:

At the bottom of the screenshot of tooltips optional settings panel, you will find new option “Enable Tooltip and Glossary Searchable option”, if you select yet, then when users search keyword in wordperss standard search form, we will display tooltip terms and tooltip content in the wordpress search result, if you select no, then wordpress tooltip plugin will exclude the page with the tip title from searches

How to Search WordPress Tooltips Document?

Hi Dear WordPress Tooltip User,

We received a ticket, in which the user asked us how to get wordpress tooltip document, I guess may a few more users have the same question, I’d like reply in here publicly 🙂

The lovely user told us, she always go to google.com to search our document by site:tooltip.org…, actually in our site, you have two method to search and find tooltip document quickly:

1: When you open a page in tooltips.org, you will find on the top of the right sidebar, we have a search form

It looks like this:

Now let’s search something, for example “glossary”, you will find all posts related with “glossary” will show in the result page, it looks like this:

2: Also you can search document of wordpress tooltip glossary plugin in wordpress tooltip document page

You will find our wordpress tooltip document page at the top menu, it looks like this:

Once you click the “wordpress tooltip plugin document” menn item, you will open our wordpress tooltip plugin document page, at the top of the wordpress tooltip plugin document page, you will find we putted a search form in here, it looks like this:

Just try to search something in the search form, for example glossary, you will find all glossary pages listed in the result page, it looks like this:

Actually it just the same search result page with the search result page via first search method 🙂
