Support customize the login link, WordPress Restricted Content Plugin by WordPress Tooltips 1.0.9 Released

Hi, Dear WordPress Tooltip users, hope this message find you are doing well and having happy days with your family We got a feedback from a user of WordPress Restricted Content Plugin, he told us he want to customize the login link:

Title: Custom Login Link Redirection for Restricted Content Access

Description: I am a user of the Restricted Content Plugin in WordPress and I am interested in customizing the default login link provided by the plugin. Instead of the standard login link, I would like to have the ability to redirect users who do not have permission to access restricted content to a custom link, specifically to my WooCommerce shop for membership access.

Benefits: 1. Enhanced user experience: By redirecting users to the WooCommerce shop, the user journey becomes more seamless and tailored to provide a clear path for purchasing membership access.

2. Increased revenue potential: Directing users to purchase a membership access can help in converting visitors into paying members, thus generating more revenue.

3. Monetization of restricted content: Customizing the login link redirection can help in effectively monetizing the restricted content on the website.

Request: I kindly request the implementation of a feature that enables users to customize the login link redirection for restricted content access. This feature would provide users with the flexibility to direct unauthorized users to a specific link, such as the WooCommerce shop for membership purchase. Thank you for considering this feature request.

Our wordpress tooltip plugin developer checked this ticket and re-developed the Restricted Content Plugin to support this feature, now you can custom the link like this way:
[ restriction roles=’customer, editor,admin’ link=’https://tooltips.org/shop/’]hi, we are private content[/restriction ]

By this way, only user roles customer, editor, admin can read your wordpress paid content , when guest and other user view the post, they will find the note : “Sorry this is restricted content, please log in first“, so users can purchase your membership product and then back to read the private paid content 🙂

We also redeveloped our plugin to enhanced code security by use sanitize_url for link 🙂

Our WordPress tooltip plugin developer has reviewed this ticket and redeveloped the Restricted Content Plugin to support this feature. Now you can customize the link in the following manner:
[ restriction roles=’customer, editor, admin’ link=’https://tooltips.org/shop/’ ]hi, we are private content[ /restriction ]

In this way, only user roles customer, editor, and admin can access your WordPress paid content. When guests and other users view the post, they will see the note: “Sorry, this is restricted content. Please log in first.” This allows users to purchase your membership product and then return to read the private paid content. We have also enhanced our plugin by improving code security, using sanitize_url for the link.

Thanks for the great suggestion, please don’t hesitate to contact us, wordpress tooltips plugin team always happy to realize your amazing requirement 🙂

WordPress Restricted Content Plugin 1.0.7, Support Customize the Redirect Link for Non-Permission User Roles For WordPress Private Content

Dear WordPress Tooltip Plugin users, hope this message finding you are doing well and have happy weekend with your family 🙂  A few days before, we reported that we released wordpress restricted content plugin 1.0.5, to support restrict wordpress private post content based on users roles in wordpress sites.   Then we get a wordpress restriction plugin user’s ticket, he said he have used our wordpress restricted content function to restricts a few wordpress paid content based on user roles, but he have a problem now, our last version of  wordpress restricted content plugin will give non-member users a wordpress login link to request users logged in first to read the wordpress private content, that’s good for a, the problem is when wordpress webmaster build a paid content wordpress site, what he want is — when a non-permission user try to view paid content section, he want the user can click to wordpress paid member shop page and then go to the checkout page to finish the payment via paypal or stripe, so the wordpress login link is not what he want, he want to have a chance to customize the login link in the wordpress post restrict notice bar, so he can change the link to his landing page or woocommerce shop to guide register as a member and pay for the user role to read the paid content in his site 🙂

Yes, this is a great feature request, we did not recognized as a paid content site, users need to be redirected to a product page, or landing page first, our design is based on a members only site, the user’s feedback let us understand this point, our developer re-developed the wordpress private content plugin to support this feature for the amazing user. 🙂

Now if you upgrade to the wordpress restriction plugin 1.0.7, you can use restrict shortcode like this way:

[[restriction roles=’editor,administrator,admin’ link=’https://tooltips.org/shop/’]]hi, we are private content[[/restriction]]

Then when wordpress users want to view the restricted content in your wordpress post? They will get the notice that this is a private content, with a customized link in the restricted content shortcode 🙂

Thanks for the great suggestion, if you have any more question or feature requests, please don’t hesitate to tell us, we will realize it for you, actually, we got another user’s ticket, in which he give us a suggestion to make a better wordpress private content plugin , we are realize this great function, you will see it soon 🙂

WordPress Restricts Plugin 1.0.5 — Restrict WordPress Post Content Based on User Role

Dear WordPress Plugin users, hope this message find you are doing well and having happy day with your family, based on feedback from wordrpess restrict content plugin users, we developed  wordpress restriction plugin 1.0.5 🙂

Changes of WordPress Restricts Plugin 1.0.5 — Restrict WordPress Post Content Based on User Role

We get a wordpress restricts content user’s suggestion, he told us, the restricts content for guest users is a good feature, is it possible to add a parameter in the shortcode to facilitate restrict post content for users with different user roles? For example, allow admin, editor, paid membership level 1 to view the wordpress post content, but do not allow guest, subscriber to read the paid private content?

We think this is a great feature request to help wordpress membership site to restricts paid content for different user roles, our developer added this function asap we can, now if you upgrade to wordpress restriction plugin 1.0.5, you can use restriction shortcode like this methods:

You can restricts wordpress post content based on user roles, you can use restriction short code like this:

[restriction roles=’editor, administrator’]hi, we are private content[/restriction]

or

[restriction roles=’editor’]hi, we are private content[/restriction]

So only specified user roles can read these private content, when non-permission users try to read the private content section of the  wordpress post, they will see the content “Sorry, this is restricted content, please log in first” — with the wordpress login link, of course,  you can change the log in link in wordpress restriction plugin settings panel, if you did not typed login link in wordpress restricted content plugin settings panel, wordpress restriction plugin will use the wordpress default login link. If the user have the right user role which can read the wordpress post paid content, we will show the content for these user roles directly 🙂

If you do not want to assign user role for the wordpress members only content,  you can just insert restriction shortcode like this:

restriction]hi, this is private content[/restriction]

Thanks for the great suggestion to our wordpress restriction plugin, if you have any question of feature request, please don’t hesitate to tell us, we are happy to realize it for you, wordpress restriction content plugin is a free wordpress plugin for wordpress tooltip users, you can download it free of charge 🙂

Thanks, have a blessed day with your family 🙂
