I just released wordpress tooltip plugin 7.5.0, in this version, based on users’ requests, I have added many features, hope you will like it 🙂

There are 36 New Changes:
* New wordpress tooltip shortcode [tooltip_by_id], you can get tooltip by id like this:
[tooltip_by_id tooltip_id='222'], ‘222’ is tooltip id, you can find tooltip id at all tooltips panel — http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tooltips, when you mouse hover the link edit under each tooltip post, you will find links like this:
http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=222&action=edit, the 222 is your tooltip id

* Added New wordpress tooltip option in backend, you can disable tooltips effect in html tags, like h1, h2…, a… and so on.
Note: support h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,a… and more, but because there are too many html tags, we can not promise support all of them, so other html tags may or may not works, you can test by yourself, just enter tags you want, and split with comma “,” 🙂

* Expand function of wordpress glossary shortcode: [glossary], now users can use [glossary catid='1,2,3'] to only show tooltips of specified tooltips categories in glossary page, by category id.

* Expand function of wordpress glossary shortcode: [glossary], you can use use [glossary catname='classmate,family,school'] to only show tooltips of specified categories
in glossary page, by category name.

* Added “How To Use WordPress Tooltips” Panel in admin area, you can click “How To” menu item to
learn how to use wordpress tooltip plugin document, we have added detailed video and text tips in here, and we are still add new how to tips for this menu item.

* Webmaster can decide wordpress glossary searchable or not, if you disable glossary searchable, it means glossary terms / tooltip terms will not shown in wordpress standard search result.
If you enable glossary searchable,it means glossary terms / tooltip terms will shown in wordpress standard search result.
By default, we enabled glossary searchable

* Improved wordpress tooltip responsive on mobile service
* In backend, added new wordpress tooltip option to enable close button in tooltip box, when you enable this option, we will show a close button for tooltips, it is suggested to enabled this option for support iphone service better.
* In backend, added wordpress tooltip option “Close Button Background”, you can setting close button Background color from color picker
* In backend, added wordpress tooltip option “Close Button Font Color”, you can setting close button Font color from color picker
* In backend, added wordpress tooltip option “Close Button Radius”, you can setting close button radius from color picker

* Allow add wordpress tooltip title in tooltip popup window, use tooltip term as tooltip title
* In back end, you can one click to display / hidden tooltip title bar at tooltips style customize panel
* In back end, you setting “Title Background Color” by color picker, the color will be used as tooltip title backgound color in tooltip popup window
* In back end, you can setting wordpress Tooltip Title Font Size at tooltips style customize panel
* In back end, you can setting wordpress Title Font Color via color picker, in tooltips style customize panel

* In wordpress tooltip style setting panel, tweak order of ‘Tooltip Box Postion’ to help users move faster based on most popular option on users’ side
* In wordpress tooltip style setting panel, tweak order of ‘Tooltip hides when’ to help users move faster based on most popular option on users’ side

* Re-designed wordpress tooltip plugin’s default / suggested tooltips style options, to make default customized tooltips style more pretty, so users do not need waste a lot of time to design / test tooltips style, the default settings is pretty and can be used directly.

* Improved wordpress tooltip shortcode [tooltips], you can enable advance tooltips shortcode in post editor,
then our advance tooltips shortcode will support multimedia content, for example, image / audio / video… and so on in tooltips shorcode.

* Realized user requested feature: “use image as tooltip for another image”, you can add an image as tooltips on another image

* Enhanced security in back end

* Added new addon — Language, if you enabled the wordpress tooltip language addon via addon menu, you will see “Languages” sub menu item under “Tooltips” menu item can custom language at language sub menu item, if you click language menu item, you will open Custom Language of Tooltip and Glossary panel and you can custom languages.

* In wordpress glossary setting panel, in the current time, we have supported 7 languages( Swedish / English / German / French / Finnish Spanish / Russian ), since this new version, you can custom your language / generate your language for glossary in custom language panel
* In custom language panel, You can use language alphabet generator to generate your language alphabet,
or just custom your own alphabet based on your application scenarios, our glossary will use your customized alphabet on glossary navigation bar
* In custom language panel, you can generate numbers based on your language or application scenarios
* In custom language panel, you can translate the word “ALL” to your language or words for your application scenarios, we will use your customized words replace the “ALL” on the glossary navigation bar
* In Glossary Settings Panel, in “Language” option, you can find a new item “Custom My Language”, once you selected it, you can use your own customized language.
Also for help you custom your language more faster, we added a link “enable custom language” after “Language” option.

* In “Import Tooltips” panel, added solutions of how to import image, how to avoid comma conflict, how to… and so on
* In sample.csv in the folder “tooltips-pro”, added more import solutions, for example image, comma… and so on

* Improved UI of tooltips for tooltip admin field in back end
* Improved UI of updated message for tooltip panels in back end

* Integrated wordpress tooltips plugin with ACF plugin
* In back end, you can enable / disable wordpress tooltips for ACF(Advanced Custom Fields) plugin
* In front end, our wordpress tooltip plugin will scan value of your custom field in the post,
if in the vaule of your ACF fields include a tooltip term, we will add tooltips effect for tooltip terms in your ACF custom fields automatically

* Added detailed tips of which kind of post types will be supported tooltips automatically

* Added wordpress tooltip plugin change logs link at new version update notify bar
