Updated WordPress Tooltip Shop and WordPress Tooltip Product Pages

Dear Users of WordPress Tooltip,

We are happy to report you that based on wordpress tooltip users suggestion, we just updated our wordpress tooltip glossary plugin shop page and wordpress tooltip glossary plugin product pages 🙂

A user told us, when he opened our wordpress tooltip shop page, it is clean and pretty, but when he opened our wordpress tooltip glossary page, he found the font of the title is too big to make the title section of wordpress tooltip product become very long, and it interferes with user reading, this might cause a few of the users leave our product page, his suggestion to re-develop the wordpress tooltip glossary plugin product page to make it more cleaner and pretty 🙂

He’s absolutely right that we only knew about adding new features into wordpress tooltips plugin, but never took into account the user experience of wordpress tooltip site 🙂

We received a ticket about how to add a related glossary link in wordpress tooltip popup box and change the language of the link to your own language, the user asked:

In the Tooltip PopUp is the Link to Glossar in englisch “More Details”.Where can I change this in German language?

How to Enable Related Glossary Term Link(“More Details”) in Tooltip Popup Box and Change the Word “More Details” to Your Own Language

Since wordpress tooltip glossary plugin 8.7.6, our wordpress tooltip plugin support add link of  related wordpress glossary of terms in tooltip popup box, when users mouse hover a tooltip term in wordpress post, at the bottom of the tooltip popup window, you will find “More Details” link after content of the tooltip, if you click “More Details” links, you will open tooltip glossary term page, it is user-friendly and SEO-friendly.

How to Enable Related Glossary Term Link(“More Details”) in Back end of WordPress Tooltip Plugin ?

You can enable it by this way:

1 Login wordpress admin area

2 Click “Tooltips” menu item

3 Click “Optional Settings” sub menu item, “Tooltips Optional Settings” panel

4: In “Tooltips Optional Settings” panel, you will find “add links for tooltip terms in tooltip popup box” option, if you enabled this option, wordpress tooltip plugin will add tooltip glossary term  links in tooltip popup box, and enable “Enable Glossary Index Page” option in Glossary Settings Panel automatically.

How to Change the Word “More Details” of Glossary Term Link in Tooltip Popup Window to Your Own Language?

Since WordPress Tooltip Glossary Plugin 10.5.4, Support Custom “More Details” Glossary Term Link in Tooltip Popup Window to Your Own Language, you can do it by this way:

1 Login wordpress admin area
2 Click “Tooltips” menu item
3 Click “Addons” sub menu item
4 You will open “Tooltips Addon Settings” panel, please enable “Tooltips Language Customization” addon and the click “Update Now” button
5 Please refresh this page and then under “Tooltips” menu item, you will find “Languages” sub menu item
6 Click “Languages” sub menu item, then you will open “Custom Language of Tooltip and Glossary” panel, you will find “Custom More details in Tooltip Popup Window” option at the bottom of the setting panel, just change it with your word and click “Submit” button

Hope this message find you are doing well and have happy weekend with your family! 🙂  We are very happy to report you we have released a new version of wordpress tooltip glossary plugin 10.4.6, based on amazing users feature requests, the changes in the wordpress tooltip glossary plugin 10.4.6:

New option box “Significant Display of Digital Superscripts on Navigation Bar” or Not in “Glossary Settings” panel

A few users told us, the digital superscripts on glossary navigation bar is great to help glossary users know how much glossary terms start with character “A”, “B”… and so on, with the current mode, glossary page is significant display of digital superscripts on navigation bar, it make the character box is a little larger then other character box which did not assigned any glossary items, they would like keep all character boxes have the same height, because it looks more comfortable in their eyes. 🙂

Thanks for the amazing feature requests, we have developed wordpress tooltip glossary new version to solve this problem,  now in back end you can Opt to “Significant Display of Digital Superscripts on Navigation Bar” or show Digital Superscripts with normal mode: in “Glossary Settings” panel.

In the current time, by default, we will “Significant Display of Digital Superscripts on Navigation Bar”, at front end of glossary page, it looks like this:

Support Custom WordPress Tooltip & Glossary & Bullet Screen Template CSS Coder in Back End

An amazing user told me he is a coder, he always customized css codes of wordpress tooltip glossary template with pretty affects by himself, but every time after upgraded to the newest version of wordpress tooltip glossary plugin, he had to replace these customized css codes in wordpress tooltip glossary template files again, he hope we offer a method to help him do this more easier 🙂

Lazy bone changed the world, right? Now solution is coming, we developed a “custom coder” menu item, it works like this way:

#1 Please login wordpress backend

#2 Click tooltips menu item,

#3 Then click tooltips coder sub menu item

#4 you will find “Tooltip & Glossary & Bullet Screen Custom Coder” setting panel, in which youc can enter your own tooltip / glossary template css codes in here

#5 In front end, these customized css codes will be loaded in head of wordpress pages.

By this way, after upgraded to the new version of wordpress tooltip glossary plugin, coders do not need change css codes in tooltip glossary template manually again

Option to enable / disable bread crumbs in glossary term pages: In backend, you will find option “Enable Bread Crumbs on Glossary Term Page” in in Glossary Settings panel,, if you select yes, in front end of glossary term pages, we will show bread crumbs on glossary term pages, if you select no, then in front end, we will disable bread crumbs on glossary term pages. How to Select My Own Glossary Index Page, How to Delete Default Glossary Index Page

Based on users requests, we are adding knowledge base to help users use wordpress tooltips glossary plugin more easier, today we added a new item in wordpress tooltip knowledge base:

“How to Select My Own Glossary Index Page, How to Delete Default Glossary Index Page”.

Based on users feature requests, for increase SEO rank of wordpress tooltip site, we will create glossary page for your site,  each glossary item have their own link, and all these links will listed in wordpress glossary page automatically.

In general, at the first time when you enabled glossary index page in “Enable Glossary Index Page” option, we will generate a new wordpress page “glossary” at ‘ ‘Glossary Index Page for you automatically, however, you can select any wordpress page as glossary index page from select box in “Glossary Index Page” option via “Glossary Settings” plugins menu, the “Glossary Settings” panel looks like this:

Also if you want to delete glossary index page, you can just find it and delete the page “glossary” manually at wordpress admin area -> all pages, and select another page as your glossary page.

What Is Changes: Enable / Disable Glossary Navigation Bar In Glossary Page OR Tooltip List Page

An user opened a ticket, he told us he like a simple and clean style on glossary page, he want to have a chance to custom glossary page to enable or disable glossary navigation bar in glossary page, wordpress tooltip list page, based on his feature request, we developed a new version wordpress tooltip 9.0.0 to realize this feature request.

How “Enable / Disable Glossary Navigation Bar In Glossary Page OR Tooltip List Page” Works?

After upgraded to wordpress tooltip plugin 9.0.0. If you logged in wordpress admin area, and click tooltips menu, then click “Glossary Settings” Panel, You will find In “Glossary Settings” panel, we added new option “Remove Navigation Bar in Glossary Page”:

If you select “YES” in the option “Remove Navigation Bar in Glossary Page”, we will remove navigation bar which at the top of the glossary page

If you select “NO” in the option “Remove Navigation Bar in Glossary Page”, we will add navigation bar at the top of the glossary page
