How to use woocommerce glossary?

It is very easy to use woocommerce glossary in woocommerce product tabs:
1: Login wordpress admin area
2: Click tooltips menu item
3: Click addons sub menu item
4: In tooltip glossary addons panel, it looks like this:

Please check “glossary for woocommerce products” option, and select “enable glossary for woocommerce ” option in the select box, and click “update now” button 🙂
5: Then under the tooltips menu item, you will find a new sub menu item “woo glossary”
6: Please click the woo glossary sub menu item
7: you will open woocommerce glossary settings panel, it looks like this:

8: In the option “glossary category in woocommerce product tabs:, you will find you can opt to display all glossary items in woocommerce product glossary tab, or do not display any glossary items in woocommerce product glossary tab, or show specified glossary items from a glossary category — when you add / edit a glossary in tooltips editor, you can select the category for that tooltip term .
9: Once you clicked submit button, in front end, you will find in the woocommerce product tab, there are glossary tab, if you click glossary tab, you will find the glossary show in the content area in the woocommerce product tab, it looks like this:

10: In glossary style sub menu item, you can custom font color, background color, font family …. and so on

WordPress Tooltip Site Update Work at 2020-09-15

A kind wordpress tooltip user told us, he was going through our knowledge base of wordpress tooltip plugin to learn how to use wordperss tooltip to build a nice WordPress dictionary site. But it looks like our site has A couple of pages are not working properly, firstly the wordpress tooltip homepage where the width of the main content area doesn’t look very pleasing to the eye and secondly the woocommerce tooltip demo page doesn’t seem to be working properly either. 🙂

In addition, he suggested that he often needs to refer to our wordpress tooltip shortcode usage page to guide him in inserting the wordpress tooltip shortcode on his wordpress element pro theme, as our wordpress tooltip shortcode usage introduction page is very detailed, listing all the shortcode usage, including video tooltip, audio tooltip, image tooltip…, as well as detailed related code, and detailed related tooltip codes, he thinks the wordpress tooltip shortcode guidelines page for wordpress tooltip users is a very useful tool, he hopes to quickly locate and open the wordpress tooltip shortcode usage Intro page, instead of going to the wordpress tooltip’s konwledge base every time to find or turn the page.

WordPress Tooltip Free Version 7.1.9 Released

2: Modify “import tooltips” module to avoid conflicts with another plugin

3: We received feedback from an enthusiastic user, He told us that he has a problem with wordpress tooltip plugin and needs our help, but when he clicks on the “Support Ticket” link in wordpress plugins panel, he finds that the “Support Ticket” link has been changed. 🙂

Sorry for this, After upgraded our wordpress, we found the old ticket support system cannot works well  in the latest wordpress version, we had to abandon the previous customer support system, we are developing a new customer support system ourselves, about halfway done, we will share this new customer support system with our wordpress tooltip plugin users, if you check our wordpress plugin product page, you will find that we have shared some of our developed wordpress plugin for free with our wordpress tooltip plugin user.

In the wordpress tooltip 7.1.9, we have correct the empty link of the support ticket, the new support ticket is here. Also if you check our support link, you will find are added demo of tooltip for form elements in the support link, another better tooltips for form fields demo can be found at here. Actually, our new wordpress tooltips  pro plugin support add tooltips on nearly any thing on front end page — if have have a Css class or Css ID in wordpress front end pages, more details please check tooltips for anything demo.

 

With wordpress tooltips plugin 7.1.9, we added a few new features in the tooltip description and updated our wordpress tooltip readme pages, for example,  use wikipedia tooltip to build Lexicon / Vocabulary / Wiki / encyclopedia / dictionary / Knowledge Base site or pages very fast and easily, or functions of advanced woocommerce tooltip, changes in glossary… and so on

1: We have released the 302nd version of the WordPress Tooltip Golssary Plugin, improving the robustness of procedures and fixed a bug

How to Add Tooltip Effect on WooCommerce Product Attribute?

We get a user’s ticket, in which he ask us how to add woocommerce tooltip effect on woocommerce product attribute tab, I think might more users have the same woocommerce tooltip question, I’d like reply in here publicly 🙂

How to Add Tooltip Effect on WooCommerce Product Attribute?

1: Login client account at woocommerce tooltip plugin site

2: Download wordpress tooltip plugin in “My account” Tab

3: Login your wordpress site

4: In your wordpress admin, click “Plugins” menu item

5: Deactivated old woocommerce tooltip version

6: Delete your wordpress tooltip plugin

7: In “Plugins” menu item, click “add new” button at the top of the plugins page

8: Upload the woocommerce tooltip plugin zip file to your woocommerce site

9: Activate latest version of wordpress tooltip  plugin in back end

10: Click “Tooltips” menu item

11: Click “Addons” sub menu item to open “Tooltips Addon settings” panel

12: In “Tooltips Addon settings” panel, you will find a lot of addons, please just enable “Tooltips for WooCommerce Products” and click “Update Now”,  it looks like this:

13 Then in your woocommerce product pages, please click Additional information tab, you will find we had add woocommerce tooltips on woocommerce product attributes for your woocommerce products, It looks like this:

WordPress Tooltip Glossary Plugin 10.8.8 Released

We are happy to report you that we just released WordPress Tooltip Glossary Plugin 10.8.8 Released, we received ticket form amazing user which reported a bug, our developer look into the bug and reproduce the error and find the reason and fixed it at our morning 03:50am, we just finished the test and release WordPress Tooltip Glossary Plugin 10.8.8 to fix the bug, in this version, we enhanced regular expression syntax in woocommerce tooltip  addon and tooltip Custom Product Tabs For WooCommerce addon, we still work hard to check other wordpress tooltip glossay module and wordpress tooltip glossay  addons, once finished code audit, we will release a new version asap we can 🙂
