Hey WordPress Tooltip plugin Users, hope this message find you are doing well and having happy day with your family 🙂 A few days before, we reported that we developed the wordpress tooltip plugin to allow wordpress tooltip users add tooltip effect on text in WordPress widget. So in the sidebar, you can add tooltip effects for each wordpress widget. Then we get a wordpress tooltip users question: how do I add a wordpress tooltip list in wordpress widget? Actually this feature (make a tooltip list widget) has been realized in many years before, I’d like reply in here publicly so more users can understand it easier 🙂

What is wordpress widget?
wordpress widgets are small block that you can add into wordpress sitebars, which have structured content generated by wordpress plugins or wordpress themes. WordPress users can drag widget into wordpres sidebar without having to write any code. 🙂
What is Tooltip?
Tooltip are small popup box with more information like video / audio / image / google maps / QR code / text… and so, tooltips box will pop up when users hover over an element in your pages, the element can be a word in your post, a search form input box, an image in your page, a widget on your sidebar.
How to make a wordpress tooltip list widget?
5 Please drag “Tooltips” widget into any wordpress sidebar
6 Please enter the title of wordpress tooltip widget, then click add widget button, it looks like this:
7 Then check front end of wordpress pages, you will see the tooltips widget appeared in the sidebar you selected. WordPress Tooltip widget will display all tooltip terms in the widget, when users mouse hover a tooltip term in the wordpress tooltip widget, wordpress tooltip plugin will popup a window to display the tooltip content of that tooltip term, it looks like this:

B: How to Add WordPress Tooltip Effect in Widget Text?
1: At first, login in your wordpress site as wordpress admin
2: Click “Tooltips” menu item
3: Click “Optional Settings” sub menu item
4: You will open the “Tooltips Optional Settings” panel, it looks like this:
5: Check into the option “Tooltips For WordPress Widget”, you can enable / disable tooltips for wordpress widget in here
6: Please remember to click “Update Now” blue button
7: In the front end of your wordpress pages, you will find tooltips effect has been added for texts in wordpress widget, when users mouse hover any tooltip term in wordpress widgets, a tooltip pop-up window with tooltip content will be displayed, you can add video / audio / image / google map / text / QR Code… and so on in your wordpress tooltip content 🙂
