How to add multimedia tooltip to an image using tooltip shortcode

WordPress Tooltip Pro support to add multimedia tooltips to an image, you can insert many different multimedia format elements in the tooltip, which is anything you can hear and see, including text, images, sound, music, film, animation, video, audio recorders, etc.

Let’s try it, when you hover over the image,  a multimedia tooltip appear with a description of the image, you can see a combination of different multimedia content forms, text, link, image, audio and video in the tootlip.


How to use it

We add the multimedia tooltip to an image using tooltip shortcode [tooltips].

NOTE:

1. Input the wordpress tootlip shortcode in the wordpress text editor. This editing mode make you write your multimedia tooltip content in HTML.

2. Select the option “Enable Advance Tooltips Shortcode” in “Tooltip Settings for this page, or tooltip shortcode will not work.

    Let us create a simple Video Tooltip using with the Tooltip shortcode [tooltips]. The code should look like below:

    How to disable wordpress tooltip for a specific page

When you add or edit a WordPress post or page using the standard editor, the URL typically looks like https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/post-new.php.In the right-hand section of the WordPress editor, you will find a “disable tooltip for this page” metabox. If you check the “disable tooltips for the page” option within this metabox, tooltips will not be displayed automatically in that specific post, it looks like this:

    Let me explain further with an example. Suppose you have a tooltip term “WordPress” and its corresponding content is “We all love WordPress”. Normally, if your posts contain the word “WordPress,” our tooltips plugin will detect it and add tooltip effects like dotted lines or double lines. When users hover over the word “WordPress,” a tooltip popup window will be displayed. However, if you have disabled tooltips for this page, even if your post contains the word “WordPress,” no tooltip effects will be added.Consequently, when users hover over the word “WordPress,” the tooltip content will not appear automatically.     You can use “Import Tooltips” to import your tooltip CSV file in all wordpress tooltip list. Click on Tooltips » Import Tooltips, then click on Choose File, select your CSV file to import, it looks like this:
