New Feature: Optimize Site Speed with WordPress Tooltips Plugin 8.5.2

Hi Dears, Based on a few amazing users’ feature requests, we re-developed wordpress tooltips plugin to help webmaster to optimize site speed. You can remove tooltips css & javascript codes from pages which have no tooltips effects.

How WordPress Tooltip Optimize Site Speed Works?

As you know, our wordpress tooltip plugin already support disable tooltip effect in any wordpress standard posts and pages, when you edit wordpress standard posts / pages, in wordpress standard editor, you can find “Disable all tooltips?” metabox, if you checked “Disable all tooltips?”, then in this page, we will not add tooltips effect on tooltip terms in this that page, it is great, right? 🙂

The problem is in that page, we still loaded tooltips javascript files and tooltip css files when the page loaded, and added tooltips in-line javascript codes and inline tooltip css codes in the page, in front end, all these tooltip javascript & css files and inline tooltip css and js codes will eat a little CPU time when you load the page in browser. An amazing user said can we find a method to give users an option to remove these tooltip javascript and css codes?

Now the answer is yes,  after upgraded wordpress tooltip 8.5.2, in wordpress post editor, you will find a new meta box “Don’t load tooltip style and script for this page too?” under our current metabox “Disable all tooltips”.

If you enabled this option, you can speed up your site by remove tooltip javascript & css files and remove tooltip inline js & css codes in the page you are editing. Then the result is remove all tooltip effect from that page, for example: disable menu tooltip, disable title tooltip, disable content tooltip, disable tag tooltip, image alt tooltip, image rel tooltip, image text.. and so on. It means, in the front end of that page, we will not load tooltips css files, remove tooltips inlinde css codes, do not load tooltips javascript codes, and remove most of inlinde javascript codes.

You can also enable this option in woocommerce product editor, bbpress topic / reply editor… and so on, wordpress tooltip 8.5.2 support speed up woocommerce tooltip, bbPress tooltips, contact form tooltips, table tooltips, ACF tooltips.

How to upgrade to WordPress Tooltips Plugin 8.5.2?

Please just download wordpress tooltip plugin from “download panel“, when upload your site to overload the current wordpress tooltip version, our tooltip plugin will scan your settings and re-generate your tooltips style automatically, that’s all.
