We got an amazing wordpress tooltip user’s message, in which he told us:
Hi, I needed to deactivate tooltip pro and when I tried reactivating, WP error Message:
The plugin cannot be activated because it generates a fatal error.
Can you help me please, to fix that and get it work again. I love the tooltips.

Sorry this is the first time we heard this kind of problem, would you please:
1: please tell us the versino of the wordpress tooltips pro plugin or tooltips pro plus plugin?
2: deactivate wordpress tooltips free plugin
3: upgrade to the latest version of tooltips pro plugin or tooltips pro plus plugin
4: if the problem still existed on your wordpress, please give us the php error log and apache error log (you can find it in cpanel or just ask hosting support), so we can find the conflicts or problems for you and solve it for you 🙂

Just downloaded the latest version version 30.4.8
Tried and got the same error message when I activated – denied.
Now it deactivated the free plugin so I activated only the pro plus AND IT IS ACTIVATED! Yeah!
This was the error – when the free is activate it denies activating the pro plus with a fatal error message.
I checked error logs but nothings was reported about the try.
So it seem resolved. Just the moment reading your answer. Haha, Cool

Then our wordpress tooltips plugin developer checked the ticket and did a few tests, finally we found it is because we added many new tooltips functions from wordpress tooltips pro plus plugin to wordpress tooltips free plugin, based on a few user’s requests, this caused the problem, we have developed WordPress tooltips tooltips pro 30.6.8 to resolved naming conflict between WordPress tooltips Pro Plugin and WordPress tooltips Free versions, and it works well now, please upgrade to wordpress tooltips pro plus 30.6.8 🙂
