How to disable functions of wordpress tooltips in front-end, and still enable wordpress glossary functions in front-end yet?
1: login wordpress tooltip site and download the wordpress tooltips glossary pro plugin 16.7.4
2: upload the zip file of wordpress tooltips glossary pro plugin 16.7.4 to your wordpress site and activate it
3: click tooltips menu item and then click optional settings sub-menu item
4: at the bottom of the optional settings panel, you will find the new option: “Disable Tooltips Functionality on Front-end and Allow Glossary Functionality”, it looks like this:

By default, wordpress tooltip glossary pro plus plugin will enable wordpress tooltip functionality and wordpress glossary functionality, so wordpress tooltip users do not need to set this option, but if you want to disable wordpress tooltip functionality on front-end and just keep functions of glossary , then please select “Yes, Disable tooltips and enable glossary”. Then in front-end, we will disable tooltip effects on wordpress tooltip terms, and we will disable tooltip effects on wordpress tooltip shortcode too 🙂
By this way, you can just use wordpress glossary functionality and stop tooltip display in your wordpress site. In the back-end, all functionality of wordpress glossary and wordpress tooltip will be keep yet 🙂
2: Just like the amazing wordpress tooltip user said, in wordpress tooltip Global Setting panel, we have an option “Disable Tooltip in Entire Site”, our wordpress tooltip developer think this may caused confuse about users who using the option “Disable Tooltip in Entire Site” and the option “Disable Tooltips Functionality on Front-end and Allow Glossary Functionality”.
The option “Disable Tooltip in Entire Site” was be suggested by another amazing user, which means stop all wordpress tooltip and wordpress glossary and more functionality in the wordpress, and wordpress tooltip plugin will not load all js file and css file …etc
Tthe option “Disable Tooltips Functionality on Front-end and Allow Glossary Functionality” means just disable wordpress tooltip functions but enable glossary functionality yet.
For avoid any miss-understand, our wordpress tooltip developer change the label of the option “Disable Tooltip in Entire Site” to “Disable All Frontend Functionality of the Plugin in Entire Site” — in global settings panel, it looks like this:

3: We adjust the UI a little — in wordpress tooltips settings in backend, for allow a few more complex description in settings panel 🙂
