What is wordpress page?

WordPress page is a built-in post type in wordpress, it be developed since wordpress 1.5 in 2005. When you install a wordperss site, by default, wordpress will create two default post type for you, “Page” and “Post”. In general, blogger can use WordPress page to build static content pages, for example, contact us, about us, TOCs, Private…etc. 🙂

How to quickly create a wordperss page directory?

2: Create a new wordpress page, insert the wordpress page directory shortcode [pagedirectory] in the page

3: After publish the page directory, you will find in front-end, you the wordpress post directory listed all pages in the directory, left column is page titles, and right column is page content or page excerpt, based on your settings in back-end,   your readers can find all pages in one list and click letters in navigation to find a specific page faster, also users can search the keyword of page content and then click navigation in search result again to get the information easier and faster. 🙂

4: In backend, you can custom the style of the wordpress page directory, you can custom functions of wordpress page directory in wordpress glossary settings panel, it looks like this:
