I have used Tooltip PRO and Footnote for years now, how I can automatically update to latest version. Can I just do an install of the latest .zip plugin archive and expect the existing installation to be upgraded to the latest version. I Have 15.8.0 right now?
Please give instructions (step-by-step) on how to install the latest update of Tooltip PRO as well as Footnote. Can I just download the latest version and install that with the zip pacakage installer built-in to WordPress and will that automatically replace the older version without destroying my entire database of
tooltips that is truly extensive. I don’t have good experience backing up WordPress, so I want a solition that simply works when upgrading.What will happen if I uninstall my present version 15.8 and install the newest version of Tooltips PRO. Will my LOOONG list of tooltips automatically re-appear? The other thing is I also have bought the supplemental “Footnote” plugin and will that be changed?Do I have to delete the existing installation of Tooltips PRO 15.8 before installing the new version.
