1: Please login your wordpress as admin. In wordpress dashboard, navigate to “Tooltips” menu item. Then, please click on the “Tooltips Style” sub-menu item, this will open the “Tooltips Style Settings” panel,  it looks like this:

2: As you can see from the screenshot, in the ‘Tooltip Box Customize Setting’ panel, you will find the ‘Tooltip shows when’ setting. By default, it is set to ‘Mouse Hover’. Please select ‘Click’ from the dropdown menu and then click the blue ‘Save Changes’ button.

3: In the front-end interface, the wordpress tooltip window will only appear when users click on the term associated with the tooltip. This ensures that users can access additional information without cluttering the interface until they express interest by clicking. 🙂
