Furthermore, we received feedback from another enthusiastic user of the WordPress Tooltip plugin. This user specifically asked for the ability to include term tooltips in the second column of the glossary, which is where the content explanations for the terminologies are found. Their reason behind this request is quite fascinating. They mentioned that their field of expertise, machine parts, often contains complex terminology within the content explanations. In order to assist their users in better understanding these terminologies, they hoped to provide corresponding details and explanations through tooltips. By doing so, they aim to ensure a seamless reading experience, even when encountering specialized terms.
In wordpress tooltips pro plugin (version >= 14.0), we have realized this feature in many years before, we are happy to add this function in wordpress tooltips free plugin for you, If you upgraded wordpress tooltips free version 9.7.9, in glossary settings panel, you will find we have a new option: “Enable Tooltip Effect on Left Term Column of Glossary Table”, you can enable / disable tooltips effect on glossary right glossary content column of glossary title, it looks like this:
