The wordpress tooltip plugin user brought to our attention that when using the member directory functions, they noticed the need to select WordPress user roles from the “Enable/Disable Specific User Roles in the User Member Directory” option within the directory settings panel in WordPress Tooltip.He mentioned that if admin did not select any user roles in the member directory panel, the WordPress Tooltip plugin should, by default, display all users in the WordPress user member directory. 🙂

Yes, we acknowledge that this user’s comment is valid. The WordPress Tooltip plugin should be user-friendly and the default setting of the WordPress member directory module should display all users without requiring the WordPress Tooltip admin to manually set permissions in the wordpress backend. This operation is unnecessary. 🙂

As developers, we became aware that our site has x0,000 users. Considering the potential impact of displaying all users on the WordPress frontend, which could be a significant number, we made an attempt to avoid that. However, we understand that each user’s site is unique, and therefore, the decision of whether to show all users should ultimately rest with the admin.

In the new version of the WordPress Tooltip plugins, when you insert the “member_directory” shortcode in a WordPress post, we have made some changes. By default, all users will be displayed in the WordPress member directory. However, the admin has the option to select which user roles should be displayed on the front-end of the WordPress site.
