How to Limit the Number of WordPress Tooltips on a Page Using the WordPress Tooltips Free Plugin:

1. Start by logging into your WordPress account and navigating to the WordPress dashboard.

2. Locate the “Tooltips” menu item in the WordPress dashboard and click on it.

3. From the dropdown menu, select “Global Settings.” This will open the Tooltips Global Settings panel.

For instance, within the “Tooltips Keyword Matching Mode” option, there’s a third choice. You can now select “Add tooltips to the first N matching keywords on the same page.” Here’s what it looks like:

Hey, dear  WordPress Tooltip plugin users. I hope this message finds you are doing well and enjoying a wonderful day with your family! 🙂 We got an ticket from a a new user of wordpress tooltips user, in which he told us, after watching our demo page, he purchased and  installed our wordpress tooltip pro plus plugin, he said that he don’t know how to get started with using our wordpress tooltip plugin.

Over the past few years, as our plugin’s features have continued to grow, from AI tooltips  to video tooltips,  PDF viewer tooltips, woocommerce tooltips,  WordPress gallery tooltips, woocommerce directory… and more, we have indeed noticed that many users have found the abundance of features overwhelming and weren’t sure how to get started with these powerful functionalities. 🙂

We pondered over this issue, and we understand that the crucial first step is when a new user activates the plugin. For newcomers, configuring the plugin may be an entirely new task. Therefore, by providing a settings link on the plugin management panel, new users can easily locate and access the plugin’s configuration options. This assists them in getting started quickly with the plugin and ensures it operates according to their needs. 🙂

So we decided to put some guide  links to quick-to-use and configurable plugin settings next to “deactivate” button in wordpress plugins panel to make it easier for users to find and access these options, and to create the first wordpress tooltip  in a minute. 🙂

The first link we decided to add is “New Tooltip”, when users click “New Tooltip” link in the plugin panel, they will be redirected to wordpress tooltips add new editor, it looks like this:

New users can just enter the tooltip title and tooltip content in wordpress tooltip editor and click “publish” button to publish the tooltip, and then in any wordpress post, if the content of the wordpress post have this tooltip term, then when user hover the tooltip term in the wordpress post, users will find tooltip window popup, it just need one minute to create the first tooltip 🙂

The second link we decided to add is “Style.” If users click the “Style” link, they will open the WordPress tooltip style settings panel, which looks like this:

Here, the WordPress tooltip plugin has designed 7 beautiful tooltip styles for WordPress tooltip users. So, new WordPress tooltip users do not need to do anything as it will work automatically. Additionally, WordPress tooltip users can customize tooltip font size, color, background, shadow, border, etc. in the tooltip box customize settings panel 🙂

We also added a “Document” link in the WordPress plugin panel, which links to the WordPress tooltip document page. We have written about 600 detailed WordPress documents for WordPress tooltip users over the past 13 years. These WordPress Tooltip plugin documents explain the functionality, usage, and configuration instructions of the plugin. New users may want to quickly refer to the plugin documentation when needed to better understand how the plugin works and address any potential issues. Placing the documentation links on the plugin management page helps website owners easily locate this information. 🙂

However, we believe that if we add too many setting links here, it will overwhelm new users with analysis paralysis. Our goal is to allow new users to quickly start creating new tooltips and complete common settings. Therefore, for now, we are only adding these four links.

In the WordPress tooltip plugin, there are more helpful links, such as optional settings, addons, reset links, etc. But our goal is to provide new users with convenient access to setting and documentation links to enhance their user experience and help new WordPress tooltip users create new tooltips quickly. This also makes it easier for website owners to manage plugins by reducing the steps required to locate and access this information, improving efficiency. 🙂

J’espère que ce message vous trouve en bonne santé et que vous passez une merveilleuse journée en famille ! 🙂 Nous avons reçu une demande d’assistance d’un nouvel utilisateur des tooltips WordPress. Après avoir consulté notre page de démonstration, il a acheté et installé notre plugin WordPress Tooltip Pro Plus. Il nous a informés qu’il ne sait pas par où commencer pour utiliser notre plugin WordPress Tooltip.

Au cours des dernières années, alors que les fonctionnalités de notre plugin n’ont cessé de croître, des tooltips IA aux tooltips vidéo, en passant par les tooltips visionneuse PDF, les tooltips WooCommerce, les tooltips galerie WordPress, les annuaire WooCommerce… et bien d’autres encore, nous avons effectivement remarqué que de nombreux utilisateurs se sentaient débordés par la multitude de fonctionnalités et ne savaient pas par où commencer avec ces puissantes fonctionnalités. 🙂

Nous avons réfléchi à ce problème et nous comprenons que la première étape cruciale est lorsque le nouvel utilisateur active le plugin. Pour les nouveaux venus, la configuration du plugin peut représenter une tâche entièrement nouvelle. Par conséquent, en fournissant un lien de configuration dans le panneau de gestion des plugins, les nouveaux utilisateurs peuvent facilement localiser et accéder aux options de configuration du plugin. Cela les aide à démarrer rapidement avec le plugin et garantit son fonctionnement conforme à leurs besoins. 🙂

Nous avons donc décidé de mettre en place des liens de guide vers les paramètres du plugin, rapides à utiliser et configurables, à côté du bouton “désactiver” dans le panneau des plugins de WordPress. Ensuite, dans n’importe quel article WordPress, si le contenu de l’article contient ce terme d’info-bulle, lorsque l’utilisateur survole le terme d’info-bulle dans l’article WordPress, une fenêtre contextuelle d’info-bulle s’affichera. Il suffit d’une minute pour créer la première info-bulle 🙂

Le deuxième lien que nous avons décidé d’ajouter est “Style”. Si les utilisateurs cliquent sur le lien “Style”, ils ouvriront le panneau des paramètres de style des info-bulles de WordPress, qui ressemble à ceci :

Ich hoffe, diese Nachricht erreicht euch in bester Verfassung und ihr genießt einen wundervollen Tag mit eurer Familie! 🙂 Wir haben ein Ticket von einem neuen Benutzer erhalten, der uns mitteilte, dass er nach dem Anschauen unserer Demo-Seite unser WordPress Tooltip Pro Plus Plugin gekauft und installiert hat. Er hat uns mitgeteilt, dass er nicht weiß, wie er mit der Verwendung unseres WordPress Tooltip Plugins beginnen soll.

In den letzten Jahren sind die Funktionen unseres Plugins stetig gewachsen, von KI-ToolTips bis hin zu Video-ToolTips, PDF Viewer ToolTips, WooCommerce ToolTips, WordPress Gallery ToolTips, WooCommerce-Verzeichnis und vieles mehr. Tatsächlich haben wir festgestellt, dass viele Benutzer die Vielzahl der Funktionen überwältigend fanden und nicht wussten, wie sie mit diesen leistungsstarken Funktionen beginnen sollen. 🙂

Wir haben über dieses Problem nachgedacht und verstehen, dass der entscheidende erste Schritt darin besteht, dass ein neuer Benutzer das Plugin aktiviert. Für Neulinge kann die Konfiguration des Plugins eine völlig neue Aufgabe sein. Daher bieten wir auf dem Plugin-Verwaltungspanel einen Einstellungslink an, über den neue Benutzer die Konfigurationsoptionen des Plugins leicht finden und zugreifen können. Dies hilft ihnen, schnell mit dem Plugin zu starten und sicherzustellen, dass es ihren Anforderungen entspricht. 🙂

Also haben wir beschlossen, einige Anleitungslinks zu den schnell verwendbaren und konfigurierbaren Plugin-Einstellungen neben der “Deaktivieren”-Schaltfläche im WordPress-Plugin-Panel hinzuzufügen, um es Benutzern einfacher zu machen, diese Optionen zu finden und darauf zuzugreifen und innerhalb einer Minute den ersten WordPress-Tooltip zu erstellen. 🙂

Please note that in your ticket, there are two tooltip records with the same tooltip title. Therefore, only one tooltip term can be imported into the WordPress tooltip database. To avoid this kind of problem, we have changed one of the tooltip terms to SKL-106 🙂
