“Hello, I have set up Tooltips including a glossary with a few terms. But on the front end, the corresponding terms that have dotted underlines have no tooltip.
I’ve tried the autoptimize plugin fix but no luck. However, this plugin has changed since your instructions so I’m not sure if I configured it correctly.
Can you kindly advise?”
In a few years ago, we wrote a document to help wordpress tooltips free users let tooltip works well with autoptimize plugin, but the user tested the old document and he said that did not work now, our developer downloaded the latest version of autoptimize plugin, he found autoptimize addded some new options, and he tested tooltips with autoptimize plugin, he found wordpress tooltips pro and wordpress tooltips pro plus works well with autoptimize plugin automatically, but tooltips free plugin need a few settings in autoptimize plugin, we’d like wrote a new document for help wordpress tooltip free plugin users set up autoptimize plugin and let wordpress tooltip works well with autoptimize plugin:
1: Login wordpress as admin
2: Click settings menu item in wordpress dashboard
3: Click autoptimize sub menu in settings menu item
4: Then you will open autoptimize settings panel, please uncheck the option “Also aggregate inline JS” and uncheck the option“Add try-catch wrapping”, then wordpress tooltips free plugin will works well with autoptimize plugin, we made a screenshot of the settings in the autoptimize plugin, it looks like this:
